How To Sign Up For Water and Wastewater Service


Residential and Commercial Accounts


FEES

New service residential homeowner: $50.00 New Account Fee.

New service residential renter: $100.00 ($50.00 New Account Fee + $50.00 Security Deposit.

New service commercial: $50.00 New Account Fee + $50.00 Security Deposit per Residential Equivalency Unit (REU) assigned with a maximum deposit of $2,000.00. A signed Letter of Intent form must be submitted with application for service.

Transfer of existing service to new address: $25.00.

New account fees and/or security deposit will be charged on the first bill. Note: The security deposit may be waived if the Easy Pay Plan, is used for one full year. For more information on the Easy Pay Plan, CLICK HERE.

The security deposit is automatically returned after one year if there is a change in status from renter to owner, or upon discontinuation of service, with good payment history (not had more than one delinquency or returned check).



PROCESS

All requests for service received prior to 12 noon will be processed same day. Requests received after 12 noon will be processed the next business day.

Requests for new service may be completed in person at our Operations Center, 1619 Rifle Range Road; by fax to 884-4858; or by email to customerservice@mpwonline.com.

If by fax or email, the following information is needed to process the service request:

  • Name to appear on the account
  • Social Security Number
  • Service Address
  • Local Telephone Number
  • Date to begin service
  • Billing address if different from service address
  • Acknowledgement of billable fee(s) as applicable - (residential, commercial, or renter)
  • Identification of commercial business if applicable

Requests for transfer or discontinuation of existing service may be taken by phone at 884-9626, or by email. (Customers transferring service may have service at two locations simultaneously for up to 30 days).

MPW supports the efforts of non-profit organizations to provide low income families with the opportunity to own their own home. MPW offers a grant program to offset a portion of the cost of connecting to our water and wastewater system.
